Sukhumvit is full of “farang” cafes… and sometimes, this is a GREAT thing! Especially if you are looking for a quiet place to sip your coffee and read a book (or in my case, work).

PATISSEZ

Why should you go? The FRESH “doughies” made daily! With delectable fillings like Thai tea, cream cheese, caramel and NUTELLA! Not to mention their coffee is rich and full of caffeine (which is hard to find in Thailand because they love dark roast; the darker the roast, the less caffeine).  Doughies = 39B/each  Iced Americano = 70B

BETTER MOON

Why do I love this Café? Because this is where the magic happens! I settle here once a week to work on photos, videos, and research for you guys to read on the blog! Better Moon offers a quiet working space for 100B/hour. Not that it’s needed, though. The entire restaurant is hushed and tranquil. They offer a modest food menu, but a VAST tea selection.

What makes Better Moon so unique? You can eat, sip and check off items from your errands list! After enjoying your tea/coffee, you can refill your shampoo, conditioner, soap, detergent, and lotion containers, which not only saves you time from going to the store but also helps Thailand’s overuse of plastic products. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
